Advertising Strategies: Which One Is Right For Your Business?
Most business owners assume that advertising is used to influence a customer to purchase a particular brand. However, brand advertising is only one approach that needs to be considered when deciding which marketing strategy is right for your business. If your aim is to heighten awareness of a particular brand amongst your customer base, then brand advertising is probably for you. Your advertisement should support your goal of attracting customers from a rival supplier, so as to either increase your market share, or arrest any decline in sales. Ask yourself: what can I do in this ad to stimu

Are you a Corona business owner? If you are, there is a good chance that you take pride in your business, namely the appearance of it. For that reason, you will want to take steps to keep your business just the way that you want it to be. Have you ever had your business inspected for mold? That excerpt comes from Alice in Wonderland. The scene is when Alice comes to a crossroads and discovers the Cheshire cat perched in a tree. It’s a poignant reminder that the path we take will determine our destination. Whether it’s the path that we are taking for ourselves, or the one we want to lead our organization on, it really does matter where we want to go.

Socializing Can Make or Break Your Business
The business people in smart clothing sit around a small table and sip their coffee chatting about everything from the latest mergers to their son’s little league game. Even though these people are enjoying themselves, they aren’t here to waste away their time in idle chat. Like true entrepreneurs they are here to further their businesses agendas. With each sip of coffee they get to know each other better and are able to make those special connections that result in either a sale or in a new friendship.Social clubs and charity organizations have been and will be more about networking then abo

Starting a Business: Should You Do It?
So let me get this straight, you want to be your own boss. You want to voluntarily and willingly throw away your current employment (or maybe the company you previously worked for made that decision for you, but rather than pursue another job, you have decided to launch a new business). And you are convinced this is what you want to do, IN SPITE of (some or all of) the following:1. The overwhelming majority of new businesses fail within the first few years of opening 2. You will be assuming responsibility for a “spouse” that never sleeps, always puts demands on your time, does not reco

    You Are Your Brand
While my focus is on successful art promotion, and helping artists, this same information is applicable and will work with virtually any type of business. It will work with your business. Is there something unique or otherwise notable about your artwork that’s worth mentioning to someone? Don’t just mention it; shout it from the (literal) rooftops! Do you know what a brand is, and why you need one? Listen up fellow artist. What do you think of when you hear, “Have it your way?” How about, “The real thing”? If you said Burger King and Coke, you’ve been swayed by the lure of branding.

20 Questions That Helped Me Take A Leap Of Faith And Change Careers
When I was working more than 45 hours a week in a job with a two hour commute each day, the challenge of a new husband, new step children, two beagle dogs and maintaining a home was more than a stretch! Something had to give, and unfortunately I was the one starting to not be able to hold it together! It was a Catch 22 situation. We had an expensive home near the city center with large mortgage costs, which demanded feeding through joint incomes. So we took (what seemed) a gigantic leap of faith and sold the house, buying a less expensive one further into the suburbs. This house is actually on

A simple and understandable vision is essential since delegation to and empowerment of your people depend on a shared understanding of the organizational purpose. Most importantly, a vision must be “lived.” If your vision is not “lived” every day in every way, it will be hollow and empty. It will not empower anyone. In fact, it may do more harm than good.

Creating an effective vision is no simple task. A vision should be succinct, clear, and exciting. It should guide the organization and everyone in it while leaving wide latitude to pursue new opportunities.

So as Leaders there are actually two things we must do. We must create that Vision. In other words, we must determine where we are taking the organization. Then we must communicate it effectively so that everyone wants to get on board.

Vision / Vision Statement – Some Thoughts..

The vision is a statement of your company’s potential. It is a statement of what your company can become. When your vision is effectively communicated to all employees, it should provide a common focus and direction. Your vision should be concise and meaningful. It should be derived from examining your values and principles and what you want your company to be
