Each year businesses around the US have to decide whether or not to send Christmas cards to their clients. Christmas cards are generally accepted as a great way to stay in contact with clients. Christmas cards are often the one contact a client may receive from the business in that year.

But the issue comes up about whether a true Christmas card should be sent or a generic Season’s Greetings holiday card. Many businesses do not want to offend their clients. Thanksgiving. While this is a US holiday, it does not have any religious associations attached. This would be a great time to send a card. A Thanksgiving card can express your thanks for their continued loyalty to your business. It allows you to really thank them rather than just being one of the crowd. New Year’s Day. Almost all locations across the globe celebrate this holiday. This is a wonderful opportunity to send cards to international clients. A New Year’s Day card sent just after the holiday gives you the opportunity to share your business goals for the new year and wish them the best in theirs. A New Year’s Day card will have the benefit of coming after all the Christmas cards have been taken down. People will open it wondering who was so late in getting out their Christmas cards. It will get more notice than the cards that come in mass.

Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day offer two great alternatives to the Christmas card dilemma. To maximize exposure, cards could be sent for both holidays as well as several holidays throughout the year. Start planning now for your card sending needs.
