Masonic Lodge Tradition Failing
Masonic lodge tradition is failing in the United States and part of this is because the buildings are in a state of disrepair and many of the older gentleman who are running these groups are at the point where they will be dying soon and they do not have enough new blood in the group to carry them forward.As much as they have considered the passing of the torch from the good old boy networks in many of the thousands of cities and towns in our nation it is obvious that the Masonic lodges are indeed in decay and disrepair. But why is this happening?Well, it is happening because they misjudge the next generation and how to properly talk to them. It is happening because they wish to tell stories that are quite irrelevant to the next generation. It is happening because the Masonic lodge acts in secrecy and pretends to know some super secret. The up-and-coming generations have an inherent mistrust in large organizations and the governments.The next generation is not interested in what

I was raised in a generation of going to church on Sundays. Most all businesses were closed on Sunday and at least one other day of the week. Sunday was the day that all of us sinners could go someplace and feel good about ourselves for at least part of a day. Most of all, I felt that it was a day that my only parent, my mother could get rid of us for a few hours of peace. We lived in a rural area, and within this area we moved many times. We were shuffled off to Church each Sunday either by a neighbour or on a bus if the church happened to provide one. Jules Verne had discussed briefly a system that would allow one to shoot something into space by using a tube in the earth. And recently a think tank member in an online think tank re-introduced this concept but added a mag levitation system to accelerate it in a long tube in a vacuum and then shoot it into space?Think tank member Joe calls this a Tubes Launch System and states; What about a possible new type of launch system for a ground launch of a space vehicle, built a mag level rail system in side of a vacuum tube long enough to gain high ground speed with the exit set at the proper angle to get craft into flight orbit, here again there are many questions, one would be what would happen to the craft when it exits the vacuum at a very high speed. I believe that the one thing that most stood out from years of this kind of exposure was that it was NOT OK to be human. It was something that we had to tolerate being because we had not choice and no matter what we did, we could not do it right or win favor with the All Mighty. We were in a constant state of repentance. The human thing to do was to try not to be human and wait for the day that God would take us away and make something worthwhile of us. In my child's mind being human was not the most desirable aspect of life. I could not see anything that I could do to make my lot better other than to go to church and confess that I was bad and needed atonement.
