In indirect sunlight, the fabric would likely fray around the edges before it showed signs of fading. However, in direct sunlight for extended periods of time, as you might get with a lobby display, the fabric will show signs of fading in about 6 months. Can you see through the fabric, and will the color graphics show from the back? It depends on the fabric that is used. There are some lightweight poly fabrics that are designed to show light through for effect. Others are thick and show little or no light through them. If you have concerns about being able to see through the fabric, ask your display provider for samples of the fabric.
