Yellow Page Advertisers: Your Calls are Going to Decrease - Here's the Remedy
Response rates to Yellow Page advertising are decliningThere's no getting around it, traditional Yellow Pages are in trouble. Fewer people use them every year. Even the best- pulling ad in the section isn't getting the number of callers or sales it used to. At the same time, the monthly cost to maintain your same-size directory ad keeps going up.Simply tinkering with ad size (or options like color) can't compensate for the adverse developments. Declining usage impacts each directory category differently. Some (like contractors and lawyers) are declining more steeply than others. Emergency service providers (tow trucks, plumbers) are holding their own. While categories like cell phones and lawn furniture are growing rapidly, with increased consumer demand.Advertising only in the Yellow Pa

Get More Out of Your Graphic Designer and Still Pay Less - Secrets Designers Don't Disclose
I was recently told by a prospect that, “Hiring the right designer was a lot like a looking for a marriage partner than just picking someone out of a crowd at a baseball game.” Okay marriage I thought was a bit much, but clients for the most part invest a fair amount of time picking out the right designer. Have you ever wondered though, are designers doing the same thing in trying to pick out the right client? In this very same meeting mentioned above, one of the prospects asked, “In addition to us interviewing you, I’ll bet you’re interviewing us, aren’t you?” A smile flashes across my face, and I nod. Designers might not tell you, but they are interviewing you as well, and hoping you’ll be a good client to work with. I’ve talked with designers in “closed door” meetings that clients
I am sure you have heard how adsense can make you rich. But just how do you do it?

Most people are lead to believe they can retire off adsense income if they build a little 50 page website and get a few visitors to it. It ain't that easy. You need tons of money making monkeys working for you.

With a good design and well optimized pages with relevent content, you should shoot for 1000 well linked pages. Making money is a numbers game. If you put out that many properly linked monkeys they will bring you back a small fortune every month. It just wont happen overnight like you have been lead to expect.

With that many pages (and some article links) you will hit the top of the search engines for more terms than you ever imagined possible. Even though I have top rankings for one of my other niche sites in just about every keyphase that relates to it, I still get 75% of my traffic from terms I never specifically targeted.

That site has about 70 well linked pages and ranks #1 (and #2) in Goolge for the most relevent term relating to my product, out of almost 2.5 million sites. I also have the top two spots for 4 other highly relevent terms.

Since you will never make money with Adsense if you have to pay for traffic (well, almost never...more on that in Monkey Speaks), it is important that you learn what to do to optimize your web pages. And then flood the web with them.

Ten Reasons Why Salespeople Fail to Sell Their Cleaning Services
At some stage in your business you will be required to make sales calls for your cleaning services. Unfortunately, making effective sales calls is one area where many people fall short. Make your sales calls more effective by becoming aware of the following pitfalls. Going in with no clear sales objective. Make sure you know what you what to accomplish and have a goal in mind, whether that is to end up presenting a cleaning bid to your prospective customer or to find out what specific cleaning services the customer needs. Calling on the wrong customers. Do your homework first to make sure that the business you are calling on uses a professional cleaning company rather than an in-house service. Not planning a sales presentation. Do not carry on a

Ideas for a Fund Raising Event
There are many ways to raise money for a good cause. One of the first things to think about is what cause to work for and then move from there. The individual can do some research on the web about the various organizations and then see if the one can fit it with the program. These organizations if it has been operating for years have probably done the same strategy annually. If the person gets the opportunity to participate in brain storming, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to raise a suggestion, which could get praise or rejection. For example, if the organization does a marathon, why not suggest holding a regatta or a golf tournament. These sporting events happen regularly in the course of one year and tying up with the club is a win-win situation for everyone given the participants and the media coverage that

4 Steps to Success In Life, Business, The Universe And Everything
Everyone wants to succeed in life. And no one starts a business of any sort, on-line or off-line, wanting to fail.Yet the sad fact is that 80% of offline and 97% of internet businesses will fail in the first year. 84% of internet businesses will never make any income at all.So what can you do to ensure your success?Luckily these four simple (never confuse simple with easy), tried and tested steps dramatically increases your chances.1. Set Out Your GoalsSuccess means something different to us all. A self-made businessman worth millions of dollars would be thought successful by most. But if that businessman only rarely sees his family, never gets to play golf and spends all of his time on airplanes or in some exotic sounding (but usually antiseptic) hotel, is that really a success?

Build Your Resume to Get Noticed
THE WINNING RESUME . . . • Is 100% honest. • Presents your most important data first. • Emphasizes your assets and avoids information which might eliminate you from consideration. • Utilizes white space for a format that is consistent and visually attractive. • Is brief, concise, and easy to read. • Avoids the use of personal pronouns. • Is free of grammatical and spelling errors. • Is limited to a maximum of two pages.FORMAT/LAYOUT • Your resume should be brief, well organized, and neatly printed on 8 1/2" X 11" white or off white resume paper. • There are two basic resume formats: the chronological and the combination. • The resume format you choose should highlight your strengths and de-emphasize your weaker areas.ith such a large number of pages as you will be requires the use of templates. I use Dreamweaver and make very simple pages. A single editable area for content is the only thing that distiguishes one page from the next. But I can update every single page, no matter how many I have, with the click of a mouse.

If a new affiliate product comes out, I can add it to every page with that same mouse click. If I add a new link or folder, same thing. If you can't work with a template and update every page with a click, take the time to master using templates now.

My sites are admittedly boring, but informative and provide useful and relevent content that I hope will help you. If nothing else, my sites rank awfully high for a lot of things. So how bad is boring?

Here is what I suggest you do, starting from scratch and using high demand keywords.

    1) Design your template to fit the ads in the best place. Nobody can tell you where that is for sure, but most experts agree that you should blend it in with your content.

    2) Test your template for a while to see the CTR for it. Make any adjustments you think it needs and keep tinkering with it until you reach a satisfactory CTR and each click pays a respectable amount. A 5 cent click won't really help the bank account.

    3) If your topic is not very popular, you may need to start over with something that pays better. If you want to make money, you have to go where it is.

    4) Once you have found a template that produces, start adding content like crazy. Find an article site that you like and pull every article you can from it. Cut it, paste it, link it, and move on to the next one.

    5) When you get to about a thousand pages or so of good content, you will be well on your way to maki
