For many unsuspecting internet surfers, these dot whatever mean no greater than being an extension name of the websites they are visiting. They do not realize that these three letters coming after a period or dot serve a great function in the webbed world of internet.Top-level domain or the last part of an Internet domain name serves as virtual, invisible fences in the immeasurable vast space of internet. They denote classification and stratification. Top-level domains tells us the kind of website we are about to visit. .com is for commercial websites open for everybody to visit and register on, .biz is for businesses, .edu is for educational institutions (mostly schools, colleges, and universities), and .gov is for governmental agencies and entities. Each top-level domain corresponds to a certain association or classification in an attempt to organize the seemingly-impossible-to-organize portals of the internet. One of the latest addition to the list of approved top-level domains is the .travel domain. It was in May of 2005 that the idea of a top-level domain for the travel industry came about when the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) approved the contract proposed by Tralliance to operate the administration of a top-level domain for the booming travel industry. 6. Expand Your Business with eBay!
Thanks to the Internet, e-commerce has made its indelible stamp on the business world by completely revamping how various companies and industries operate. And under that huge umbrella of “doing business on the Internet” falls a legendary business success story: eBay. What began in 1995 as a little website where approximately 10,000 individuals traded goods with one another during the first year, now has more than 135 million registered users with a half million of those folks making a full- or part-time living with businesses that sell on eBay.So the question that begs to be asked is: Should you add eBay as a sales venue to your operation? Consider that in 2004, eBay’s annual gross merchandise sales exceeded $34 billion and $1.2 billion of that was in the business and industrial category. Statistics like this clearly indicate that eBay provides extraordinary opportunities to reach a worldwide market with different products and services.Benefits of operating a business on eBay:Targeted Traffic – Through eBay’s superb search engine optimization, customers who are specifically looking for your product will be directed to a landing page featuring your eBay store or auction page. With more than 79 million searches conducted on eBay daily, this will be a much added boost to your online marketing campaign. Listing your product on eBay will save money traditionally spent on
Today the majority of affiliates are looking for compensation when your customers call in their orders by phone. One of the first things they will look for when thinking about joining your affiliate program is to see if you have an order phone number on your site. If you do not offer phone commissions you are most likely losing out on affiliates.

"But I slightly increased my commission rate to make up for not giving phone commissions..."

Who cares? I know I wouldn't. If I referred 5 customers to Merchant X and all 5 of them called in their orders I get a whopping $0 commission. But if Merchant X paid for phone commissions I would be getting my commissions that I deserve. The bottom line is that affiliates want all of their commissions that they earn, not just some of it.

There really is no excuse for not tracking phone sales other than the fact that you just don't want to pay affiliates for all of their sales. Setting your site up to track phone sales is not that difficult and shouldn't take more than a little bit of time.

Here are the simple steps it takes to set up phone tracking:

Contact your affiliate program software/network provider and ask them how to set up for phone tracking. It is just a matter of passing the affiliates ID number onto your website to display next to your phone number. Usually, it is displayed using a javascript code or a short programming script.

Make sure you place the phone sale tracking code next to your phone number on every page that shows your number. Do not just put it on the index page. Customers may get your phone number from any page.

Then train your sales reps or employees that answer the phones to ask for the "reference code" when taking phone orders. The reference code is the affiliate ID number that referred the customer to you. Have them write it down or enter it into the computer so you can manually credit sales to the appropriate affiliates.

Good luck and I hope you decided to track phone sales for your affiliates. They will love you for it. Hey, it is just like getting a raise! :=)

    6. Leather Jackets
A leather jacket is a waist or thigh length coat made using leather. Leather jackets are made from animal hides and are usually available in dark colors such as black, brown and dark grey.Leather jackets may be worn either for protection or to make a fashion statement. There is a substantial difference between the two types. Jackets designed for fashion purposes may just provide warmth and not safety. Leather jackets designed for protective use are meant to protect the person wearing them from serious injury. A fashion leather jacket is not likely to be of much help in the event of an accident.Leather jackets are not necessarily meant only for special occasion wear; they can stand up to the rigors of everyday life, as well as serve as evening wear. This type of clothing has achieved an iconic status in the 20th century, thanks largely to the movies. It has become associated with various subcultures over the course of the last century. For instance, leather jackets have often been associated with bikers, pilots, punks and police officers.Leather fashion has been around for a long time and is acceptably appropriate for every time and occasion. It is a perfect blend of style and comfort and could also be just what one would want to wear on a special occasion. Leather jackets are available for men, women and children in various styles and shades. These garments are always

    6. 7 Easy Ways You Can Use Powerful Words to SkyRocket Response And Profits From Your Ads
Have you ever seen an ad so compelling, that you soon found yourself glued to it? You just couldn't stop reading! Maybe you even took the plunge and bought the product advertised. Well, the good news is you can make your own ads much more “hypnothical” by simply adding some carefully chosen "powerful words" to your copywriting. There are some words that have been proven over time to increase responsiveness when used in advertising. The most powerful word you can ever use is "free". Most people can't resist a freebie (of course it has to be valuable, a piece of "junk" won't cut it).But there are lots of other great words that can enhance your copy when used correctly. You can really spice up your ads just by using these words. When looking for powerful words, always remember some key psychological triggers that make people want something. Here follows a list of buyer triggers with some example “powerful words” (you can always use variations, such as “reveals” instead of “revealed”):Exclusiveness: people love being in a "club" most people don't have access to. They want to know what the secrets are. Here is where words such as "secret", "exclusive" and "revealed" come in handy.Guarantees: people want to be sure that what they buy will work as advertised. Words such as "proven", "tested" and "guaranteed" give them this safety feelin

    6. Can Slow Growth Boost Outsourcing?
It is no secret that more and more companies are moving their projects outside of the company walls by using outsourcing and freelance services to complete the projects. This move has made it possible for companies the world over to remain profitable in the face of economic downturns. This speaks directly to the benefits to be had when outsourcing projects to freelance professionals from all over the world. So many people are skilled in certain areas that they hardly ever use, mostly because they took a job in the world that was outside of their qualifications in order to survive in the failing economy that is plaguing the world. This is not uncommon. Those with degrees in electronics and their inner-workings are especially prone to this because of the cut throat market that reigns. Upon graduating, these people will most often take a job that has little to do with the education they have received. This is a huge waste of resources as many companies will not hire such persons because they have little or no skills in the real world.Barring a complete and total makeover of the way that companies hire professionals, the only chance these people have is to take on freelance jobs that have been outsourced by a company in need of such services. This is becoming common place in this world as freelancing takes a hold and makes it mark on the professional world. Outsourcing is rapi
