Let me share with you fifty creative ideas. I hope this list gets your creative juices flowing.ISO 9000 is a set of standards for quality management systems. Perhaps, it is the most popular generic international standard today. First published in 1987 and modified in 1994, it is the true basis for businesses to develop or improve their quality assurance systems. Today, most international businesses document their quality systems according to the ISO 9001 elements. There are a total of 20 elements (sections) in the overall ISO 9000 standard. Each section explains what a company has to do in order to show that it is abiding by the ISO 9000 rules. Each of these elements should be clearly and completely documented. The twenty ISO 9000 elements include management responsibility, quality management system (QMS), contract review, design control, document control, purchasing, purchaser supplied product, process control, inspection and testing, inspection, measuring and test equipment, inspection and test status, control of non-conforming product, corrective action, handling, storage, packaging and delivery, control of quality records, internal quality audits, training, servicing, and statistical techniques and product ID and traceability.Management responsibility addresses the responsibility of an organization to set up a system that frequently meets consumer requirements and expectations, even in times of managerial change. Quality management system defines general requirements, along with documentation requirements such as quality manual, procedures, work instructions and records.Design control requires that all phases in the designing of products or services must be managed and conducted by qualified employees. The ISO element document control requires that all documents and data used must be controlled and authorized. The section of statistical techniques includes data analysis, sampling methods, and SPC (statistical process control). I put her tip inside the mini coin canister! I have gotten 3 orders by doing this! When you are getting started it's so hard to understand the integral role packaging has to play in marketing and selling your product. Put simply, it’s one of the most important product decisions you will have to make. There is a universe of packaging suppliers, materials and even regulations. Not to be overwhelmed, it is easy to navigate if you take it one step at a time. It is a process just like any other component in product development. They key is to know which packaging factors will influence your product’s success --or failureHere are 5 vital things you need to know as you start on your journey that packages your product to sell.1. You can't have a product without a package.Just think about potato chips and eggs for example. How could you sell them unbroken and undamaged without a package? You have to be able to transport a product from point A to point B. The package is what makes it happen. Even if your product is not fragile, it can't get into the buyers hands in a shop worn condition. Consumers will NEVER buy it.It’s interesting how packaging is evolving. In many cases, there would be no product without the package. Take something as simple as toothpaste. Whether it's in a tube or in a pump the package plays an integral role in making this product work. It is so ordinary that many people never stop to consider this fact: Where would toothpaste be without a package? So ask yourself these questions: Is your invention going to need a package that is part of the actual product? Or will the packaging be more of a protective device to convey the product?Whatever the answer might be, it's time to start thinking about how the packaging is going to impact both shipping and merchandising.2. The package could cost more than what is inside. The rule of thumb is that the package should be 8-10% of the total cost on averag Be creative when you leave tips for Hotel Maids, Waitresses, Waiters, Hair Dressers, etc. Don't just hand them your business card, make it memorable! They usually have Conflict Resolution And Understanding The Cost Of Conflict p>Understanding the cost of conflict is a major factor in persuading contesting parties to attempt conflict resolution and turn their conflict into collaboration.Stewart Levine in his excellent book "Getting to Resolution – Turning Conflict into Resolution" identifies four costs of conflict:Direct costsProductivity costsContinuity costsEmotional costsWhenever you get bogged down in an unresolved conflict, all four of these costs begin to mount. The conflict meter starts running. This is often not fully appreciated by parties to a dispute – especially in the early stages when monetary consequences seem the only concern. However as the conflict takes hold, all four costs begin to take their toll.It is a wise conflict resolution facilitator who makes sure that the parties to the dispute fully understand that all four costs are running as this helps them see the mutual advantage of collaborating and getting resolution. So, what are these four costs all about?Direct costsThese are the costs you pay professionals to assist you resolving the conflict. They include payments to lawyers to represent you in court. Legal costs are very high and often very difficult to estimate at the start of a court case. The problem is that as the case progresses the legal costs grow and grow. Eventually your attitude may be "in for a penny, in for a pound".This does not mean that sometimes it is absolutely necessary to be represented by good lawyers even if the financial cost is high. However, remember good legal representation can be expensive. Most times what you pay for, you get.It sounds fine to say: "Don’t speak to me, speak to my lawyer". Understand that this route can come with a heavy price tag. Also include Then contact local area mobile home park offices, apartment complex rental offices, housing developments etc and ask them if you can leave fliers in their office or hang on their tenants doors. They usually have Four Poster Beds for the 21st Century word about your business. For centuries the four poster bed has been considered the ultimate dream, for practical, status or for romantic reasons. This still seems to be the case today, although wood and plastics are being used to make four poster beds as well as the traditional solid woods. As a business devoted to customer satisfaction, we would like to give our clients the designs that they want, and not make what we want, and expect or hope that they like them, or not as the case may be.The best thing that product manufacturers can have from customers is feedback. It has become clear to me that negative feedback can be as useful, if not more so than positive. Constructive criticism and the reasons for not liking a product can often be more productive than a pat on the back. Many business gurus believe that businesses can grow to be hardly recognisable from how they started within five years, as they develop to meet market demand. Markets change, and it is said that clever businesses should keep up with customer taste. It has also been said that the best businesses anticipate what the customer wants. Others say that cutting edge businesses give the customer what they want, before they even know they want it, and so define fashions. So why do markets change? Why do people stop buying a certain style of furniture that has been fashionable for years? You know that the product is good because the customers that have bought it previously are delighted, and told you so. You know that the quality is good, as there is no negative feedback. We have been making quality coffee tables for years, but in the last twelve months, I have not sold one! With four poster beds, I can understand issues other than design coming onto play when they do not sell. Interest rates and mortgage rates going up all reduce expendable cash. Enquiries are often less during February, reflecting cred 5. Daycare Centers! They usually have Getting Ahead at Work Part II usiness opt fliers, plenty of catalogs, business cards etc. Here are five ways prove your worth and get ahead at work from "The Office Coach:"Be Proactive This is the number one problem of new workers in the workplace. They spent their entire career up to this point in schools where they were spoon fed assignments and activities. They were always told where to go and what to do and now, suddenly, they’re at a job and they don’t know that they are required to think for themselves. Believe it or not, I’ve noticed it in some older workers too. We live in a different world now than, say, 20 years ago. This is a world of mergers, downsizing, technology that runs at the speed of thought. If you aren’t in on it, you risk being left behind. One way to be in on it is to develop an innovative mind. Learn a process first, then see how you can improve it. Strive to understand more than just your job so that you can see how what you do affects others. Find new ways to make your boss’s job easier and to make them look good. Do this, and you may find another partner on your path to success. Be Confident I learned early on, that if you walk into someone’s office, look them in the eye and tell them what you want and why, that more often than not, you’ll get it. Confidence is a position of power and it doesn’t require that you always know every detail of what you are doing. Women are especially susceptible to this because many men are taught early on to stand up straight and look someone in the eye. Many women, on the other hand, are cultivated to be more submissive in their approach, more helpful. Now, I know this is a sweeping generalization, so please don’t crucify me for it, but this is hundreds of years of human nature and I’m not sure how long it will take for women, as a whole, to completely eradicate this from our collective system.Go Beyond the Call of DutyWhen someone says, “That Do a contest drawing at these types of events.
